The ArchiGreen® SP-C separation profiles for corner applications comprise the following four types: SP-C AL 80/120,
SP-C AL 120/80, SP-C SS 80/120 and
SP-C SS 120/80. The first two are made of high-strength aluminium alloy, whereas the remaining two are made of stainless steel. Contrary to their lineal counterparts, corner separation profiles cannot be used interchangeably in terms of their upright sides during installation works. Therefore, it is mandatory to know in advance the upright side of the lineal separation profile to which any of these prefabricated corner pieces are to be connected. The first of the two measurements in any of the above corner pieces defines the upright side measurement. Consequently, SP-C AL 80/120 will have an upright side of 80 mm and is therefore, to be connected to an SP lineal profile SP AL 120/80 only when the upright side of the lineal profile is the 80 mm.

In the case of the SP-C prefabricated corner pieces, the lateral perforations known as drainage slits are present in a regular pattern of ten adjacent slits two times along the main fold of the corner element. These drainage slits provide ample drainage between the layers lying on both sides of the profile. The V-cut in the bottom side of the profile enhances the formation of right-angled corners. With each prefabricated corner element an L-shaped sliding corner is included. The use of the sliding connector allows for better alignment and avoids gaps between the ends of the profiles.

These prefabricated corners are designed to be jointly used with the SP separation profiles after the upright side has been determined and the proper SP-C corner element has been selected. Their use is not only encouraged from an aesthetic point of view but also from an environmental aspect as their installation implies reduction in waste compared to cutting linear strips on site to form corners.
